Last updated: 4 August 2026

Tami is designed to make personal cycle tracking feel calm and approachable. This page explains what its estimates can and cannot tell you.

General wellness only: Tami is a personal tracking tool. It is not a medical device, healthcare service, diagnostic tool, or contraceptive method.
Personal trackingTami organizes information you enter and shows general cycle estimates.
Not medical adviceTami does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or prevent any medical condition.
Not contraceptionNever rely on a Tami estimate to prevent pregnancy or confirm fertility.

1. Intended use

Tami is a personal cycle-tracking and general wellness app. It records information you choose to enter, such as period dates and optional symptoms, and uses that information to show cycle summaries, pattern messages, and estimated period and fertile windows.

Tami is intended only for adults aged 18 years or older.

Tami is intended for personal awareness and organization only. It is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, prevention, or prediction of a disease or medical condition.

2. Estimates can be inaccurate

Period dates, fertile windows, cycle phases, averages, and pattern messages shown by Tami are estimates generated from the information available on your device. They are not measurements of ovulation, pregnancy, hormone levels, or any other biological event.

Estimates may be wrong or change when information is missing or corrected, cycles vary, or personal circumstances change. A displayed date or phase does not confirm what is happening in your body.

3. Fertility, pregnancy, and contraception

Do not use Tami as contraception, to determine when unprotected sex is safe, to confirm ovulation or pregnancy, or as the only basis for decisions about trying to conceive.

If you need contraception, pregnancy, or fertility guidance, use an appropriate evidence-based method and speak with a qualified healthcare professional.

4. Symptoms and pattern messages

Symptom logs and Tami's pattern messages are personal records, not a clinical assessment. Tami does not determine the cause, seriousness, or medical meaning of a symptom and does not screen for health conditions.

Do not ignore symptoms, delay care, or change treatment because of information shown by Tami.

5. When to seek care

Contact a qualified healthcare professional if you have questions or concerns about your cycle, bleeding, pain, symptoms, pregnancy, fertility, contraception, or a change in your health.

Tami is not an emergency service. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately.

6. No professional relationship

Using Tami or contacting Tami support does not create a doctor-patient or other healthcare-professional relationship. Support can help with the app, but cannot interpret symptoms or provide medical advice.

7. Changes to this disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer when Tami's features, intended use, or legal obligations change. The latest version will show a revised "Last updated" date. Material health-related changes should also be reflected clearly inside the app.

8. Contact
